Patrik Austin
November 2014

This paper introduces a new approach to the study of the logic of language by scrutinizing the shortcomings of the syntax of predicate logic as manifested in the logical language Lojban. The paper examines in what way a simpler and more expressive logical syntax can be extracted from natural language grammar to avoid issues caused by using predicate logic.
