This paper discusses topicality in Icelandic grammar as realized in several phenomena: referential third person pro drop in Old Icelandic, diverse types of topic drop in Old and Modern Icelandic and Narrative Inversion (declarative VS clauses), also in both Old and Modern Icelandic.
